“Shamitabh is now in its last legs of spilling out its plans for promotions. I need suggestions for how this will be done .. !!”

Bollywood Mega-star Amitabh Bachchan blogged yesterday in his blog post, and today he called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi with R. Balki who has scripted and directed Shamitabh.

It is interesting to note that R.Balki’s film Paa had worked as a bridge between Amitabh Bachchan and Narendra Modi way back before five years when Modi was Gujarat Chief Minister. In those days Amitabh had come to Gandhinagar to invite Modi to watch Paa. Modi had accepted invitation and watched Paa with Amitabh, Balki, ministers and top officers at City Pulse multiplex near Gandhinagar. Later Gujarat govt had declared ‘Paa’ tax free. During dinner at his residence with Amitabh Bachcchan, Modi had requested Amitabh to become brand ambassador of Gujarat Tourism. Bachchan accepted the request following which, number of video ads were filmed across Gujarat and released later on.

For today’s meeting, both Modi and Big B were dressed in crisp white kurta-pyjamas and wrapped themselves in same color of shawls.
