Automatic Bricklayer

Machines have officially replaced masons. We're serious, this machine can turn a pile of bricks into a flawless cross hatch pattern faster than an episode of Hometime.

Goventosa Monocylce

When the world said monocylces couldn't be done, the decidedly not single-minded M. Goventosa crafted the world's first, and managed to slap on a steering wheel for ergonomics. Well played.

Helicopter Refueling Tank

Feats of many-tonned flying things continue to get better and better. This massive helicopter seems to feather float over the still decently large tank that is being fueled from above. Meanwhile, white helmet guy is having a completely normal day.

Helicopter Trimmer

This is how James Bond mows his lawn. On off days, this bladed beast swings with the wind into overextended, power-line impairing branches of horrified trees.

World's Largest Wind Turbine Blade

How these two truck drivers will complete this suddenly hairpin turn will be a world record feat. Measuring a whopping 273.95 feet and 13.7 feet wide, the transportation was an absolute logistical nightmare.

28 Cylinder Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Engine

To imagine how intense the creators of this incredibly complex engine put their idea to paper is just about the same as trying to understand the makings of this 28 cylinder beast. The engine powered many planes during the 40's and 50's, and was certain to awe any aircraft mechanics who encountered it.

4,500hp Boring Machine

Nothing is Ôboring' about the giant boring machine named Heidi. In this picture, the machine breaks its way through the final section of the Gotthard Base Tunnel, completing the world's largest rail tunnel at over 10.5 miles long.

Howitzer With Silencer

Finally, some of the world's loudest existing machines have been dampened. All you have to do is strap an enormous silencer on the barrel, and voila! A silencer with more mass than the tank it's attached to. No wonder it was used for training exercises only.

World's Largest Helicopter

Powered by two 11,000 horsepower engines, this monstrosity can carry up to 22 tons of cargo, including a retired airliner. Or, a retired Russian airliner and 90 people on board. With a range or 500 miles, this bad boy chopper has done all sorts of cool lifting, including a frozen 23,000 year old wooly mammoth.

Do You Even Lift?

You don't need to be a construction manager to be thoroughly convinced that this is the crane for you. Heck, throw this 3000 ton Liebherr lr130 (with included Ômini' me's" anywhere and it may just give passersby a craned neck and an obligatory "Wow, now that is a crane hoisting a crane hoisting a crane hoisting a freakin' crane".

Pan American Stratocruiser

In what would become one of the most quintessential 50's photographs there ever were, this Pan American Stratocruiser is seen taking a quick stroll on an overpass before taking off all "I'm a freaking huge plane". Classic Chryslers and suits and sundresses all approved, baby included.

Hemi-Powered Chrysler Air Raid Siren

The loudest warning device ever sold took up more than a small chunk of space to bellow at an ear-drum shattering 138 decibels at 100 feet up. Anyone within 50 miles over flat land could hear this sucker, and be duly warned

North Korean Driving Simulator

Sporting around 50 different car's worth of old and repurposed parts, this driving "simulator" featured a pretty realistic experienceÉexcept perhaps the field of view offered by the attached screen. Not to worry, though, that kid has an emergency brake and 3 feet of car mish mash before his lack of seatbelt sends him flying off his bus bench.

One Mammoth Tractor
