Bro, I didn't say that we shouldn't use. I was only asking when the WA suggested without knowing the TS infrastructure. Maven place lo Ivy and Gradle kooda use cheyyocchu. Maven use cheyyadam ledhu ante...Ant or Make use cheyyamani kaadhu naa suggestion.

As per my proj environment we are using Spring, Hibernate, JSF 2.0 version so hibernate cheyavalisina avasaram ledhu kadha? and same time ma manager gadu cheppadu  ma application IE 11 lo not working so adhi upgrade chesthey work avuthadhi ani annadu so eppudu confusion enti ante prime face ki upgrade chesthey a IE 11 issue fix avuthadha??? and meeru andharu cheppinaattu i will follow those step to migrate primes face

U r correct .. Business layer ki upgrade sambandham undadu ... Unless they r using entitiy class variabkes directly as managed beans vars in jsf ... Appudukuda emi effect undakudadu .. Just java class A kavatti

It surely will have Dude.

If you are migrating to latest version of Hibernate (or to JPA), you will definitely face issues when persisting the data.

Most of them will be Run-Time Exceptions so no way of knowing in advance.

 

But as I said, advanced versions of PrimeFaces 5.0, must give support to backward versions of Hibernate (4 to 3.x and previous).

If not, then surely you will have to migrate to Hibernate 4.

Bro, issue just IE 11 working problem aithe...Java Script lo fix cheyyaocchu emo try chesi choodu. When we use JSF, ideally, we don't (shouldn't) use JS, becuase JSF is event based MVC. But nenu work chesina projects lo JS used along with the JSF. If JS is used in your project and if the problem is only with IE 11, try making it work with JS. Ledhu PM agree avvadam ledhu ante..primefaces ki vellu. We used ICEFaces, we have upgraded to latest version (Ant), we had some issues with the libraries and other code related. One by one fix chesukuntu vellam (it was 1 year back).

Bro, patha jsf versions tho Maven endhuku use chesthaaru? Prathi latest version, Ant support undhi. Out of box Ant support leni chota..scripts raasukoni manage cheyyadame.
