Baane untadi but like any other technology first lo struggle untadi but once you get used to it, then it should be good.

nenu 1 year back  weblogic ki change ayyanu first lo chaala kastam anipinchindi but later on baane undi.

But unix koncham baaga raavali

WAS is good buddy....  initial ga konchem struggle cheyali ndukantey new technology kabatti....   UNIX/LINUX meeda grip untey easy ga vastadi subject...

WAS admin jobs kuda baney untayi...  Future is good....  Salaries are on par with developers/SAP.... 

But don't restrict urslf to Websphere only...  also go for open source appservers like JBoss, .. Weblogic  is also gaining importance now a days..

overall websphere is good ... go for it..
