Ikapothe, I am a Java Consultant with 10 years Exp. But never worked on (do not like to work on) JSF/JBOSS /SEAM Projects.

Just in the last month, surpringly our client (I am working for a Consultancy) asked us to migrate a JBOSS Seam EAP 2.2.5 Project to JSF 2.0 (Seam WTK 2.6).  We faced lot of problems with Persistence Layer because the old version was Hibernate 2.x and they wanted to migrate to Hibernate 4.x

I told about my experience and what I have done. If thats helpful to TS, I thank God for giving me opportunity to help others but do not expect anything in return.

 

All these Techs not generating any good contract revenues. Thats why I am going ahead with next-Gen techs like Scala, NoSQL.

Right now learning them and I am planning to post my experiences on LinkedIn soon.

 

N.B:- Scala needs more Logical brain unlike Traditional Web based projects.
