Unless and until Modi Govt announces formally that they are not giving the special status, you can't say that Central Govt never promised. Nee assumption tho edho raasthunnavu. Also, We may be get new airlines to Gannavaram Airport... Air Vistara.. TATA vaadi airlines... Next month starting.... CBN is in Talks with Mistry the CEO of tata Group for connections from Gannavaram... But lets see how it works... 

 

As far as I know there are thre International Airports planned:

1. Gannavaram

2. Nuziveedu.

3. New one in Yalamanchili near Vizag. If that happens new State will have three International airports with fourth one in Hyderabad at very close proximity.

 

So 4 International Airports in a State like United AP.

 

Great. But who will use them?
