With the fields of farmers in Tadepalli and Thullur mandals, in the proposed new capital region, put to flames by unidentified men on early Monday morning and allegations are rife that AP government is forcing farmers for lands, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is said to be deeply upset. He is now mulling over to keep Undavalli and Tadepalli villages out of capital zone and announce them under Green Belt policy so that the lands of farmers would remain with them and industries, institutions would not be set up in that specific Green Belt area so that the total land is left for the cultivation of agriculture.

"Out of total 29 villages, the problem is said to be with only two villages and government wants to announce those two villages under Green Belt and wants to initiatae dialogue with few other villages to which have few reservations, doubts on LPS. CM Chandrababu Naidu is very upset on the issue and ordered to take stern action against culprits," said a source in the know.

"Chandrababu Naidu has spoken to the Sarpanchs of the villages over phone and directed them to convey the farmers that government is in favour of them and said that it will no way force farmers for their lands. In return, Naidu assured all sort of help and said that all the culprits behind this sabotage would be kept behind the bars. Also Babu told them that if farmers are not willing to share their lands, he has no qualms but keep it out of capital zone as asked by farmers," added source. Chandrababu added that capital should be created with acceptance, love but not with revolts, fights.
