Gajji_maraja Posted December 29, 2014 Report Posted December 29, 2014 Hyderabad, Dec 29, 2014: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister China Rajappa said here today there are suspicions that YSRCP cadres are involved in the burning of crops in several villages of AP capital region. He said that investigation is on and the culprits would be nabbed soon. Meanwhile, agriculture minister Pathipati pulla Rao directly blamed YSR Congress Party for the incident saying the party cadres have resorted to this act with the support of their president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy. "Jagan Mohan Reddy is behaving like a psycho and is resorting to these acts with the intention of blocking the construction of AP Capital. We will take strict action against the culprits," he told reporters.

"Jagan is a psycho. Burning of farms in Rayapudi, Lingayapalem and Undavalli is pre-panned. Jagan & YSRC Leaders were involved in this ghastly act. Its a conspiracy to shift AP Capital from here," he told.Miscreants have set the banana plantations in several villages (which fall in AP Capital region) ablaze in the early hours of Monday. Farms in villages Mandadam, Penumaka, Lingayapalem, Rayapudi, Venkatapalam have been set afire. Even Drip Irrigation Pipes and Sheds have been damaged in the fields of some of these villages of Tulluru and Tadepalli mandals in Guntur district. Inquiry is under progress to nab the culprits and Special Forces have been deployed in these villages for additional security
