Mahendra Singh Dhoni: India captain quits Test cricket

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has retired from Test cricket.

The 33-year-old, who made his debut in 2005 and was captain for 60 of his 90 Tests, quit after India drew the third Test against Australia on Tuesday.

Dhoni has retired from Tests "in order to concentrate" on the 50 over and Twenty20 formats, with India's one-day World Cup defence starting in February.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) called Dhoni "one of India's greatest Test captains".

Hi Bro's,

 

I just saw a post in FB saying that When Ganguly retired, he was the one to lift on shoulders during the farewell, the same when Sachin retired etc...etc. 

He is the captain of best Indian cricket team and Ganguly is the best captain of Indian cricket team.

He asked Chennai super kings to buy the best players in the world to make sure that they end up at least second or third in the list.

He only plays well in IPL.

 

I heard many more. but posted only some things above.

 

For me, I have never seen such a cool captain on the field barring couple of incidents(one of them telling Sushant "Oh Sri girl friend nahi hein udar, idar aaja). He never played for records. But played as he likes to play cricket. All the Ads he got are because of the craze he has. I have never heard news that he decides the playing 11 based on a personal agenda. Also i brush out the rumor that he always includes the Super Kings players. CSK players were playing good at that point of time.

 

I have much more to tell.
