I simply consider those who mock lower castes of casteism (in the reservation debate or any other such debates) as being as casteist, even though they profess to having no particular affinity to any caste. I assume that deep down, they are not for equality. although they say that they are. sometimes they don't even know it.

I just hope Indian govt bans upper castes from politics for a few decades and solves this mess. haha pipedream may be mayawati can realize it for you i only have the gripe about continuing the reservation system when it was only intended to be used for 50 years to bring parity among ppl y no one even touches that y ?

It couldn't even get the data on reservation and its beneficiaries, for the past 60yrs, and revise the criteria or set a dynamic one. Still calling for reservations to be canceled when an upper caste guy gets to attend airconditioned IIT coaching centers, and a lower caste guy has to make do with fending off mosquitoes and the heat, have to compete with each other, is a bit cruel.
