It couldn't even get the data on reservation and its beneficiaries, for the past 60yrs, and revise the criteria or set a dynamic one. Still calling for reservations to be canceled when an upper caste guy gets to attend airconditioned IIT coaching centers, and a lower caste guy has to make do with fending off mosquitoes and the heat, have to compete with each other, is a bit cruel. why do u generalize this way most of immediate family is moderately self-sufficient and some kids worked hard to crack iit's yet i emphathize with the kid who has to fight against all odds to atleast give it a try buthow long do you think this reservations should go on by 2030 i think we will see some movmt toward this

There are some glorious exceptions though.

Well, I feel ppl should deserve seats and jobs based on merit.....and for backward ppl provide scholarships and make them study and secure thru merit instead of reservation escape.......if in this way India works definitely braindrain avoid cheyachu and progress kuda avavchu..

I'm all for SC/ST reservations but i think BC/OBC reservations are just big bullshitt and are created mainly for the sake of vote bank politics , i think these should be chucked out and the same % should be allotted to merit based reservation ......

Kishanbjp Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 I am in for casteless society...can the first generation reservation-acquired SC/ST or other BC's have the balls to reject reservations for their children?? i too have the same opinion like you....let the govt bans caste reservation atleast in studies and jobs then the rest will be fine...no govt has balls to do that and no lower caste people has the balls to reject the reservations in studies even though they are rich ... I always support the economical support...let all enjoy the freedom.. if ambedkar is still alive he would have felt sorry for these extension of reservation system even after 67 yrs of independence....i doubt the present caste systems will be upside down if they continue this reservations still....oc becomes sc and st and sc becomes oc...LOL
