The previous Nizam kings sold many coastal AP districts to British in order to develop HYD.

The last Nizam Kings collected huge taxes from people and ill treated the people (raping and killing people)...to develop HYD and lived a very lavish life.

1) Begumper Airport, airport in Munnur, Warangal (largest pre-independence airport in India)

2) All major Govt hostpitals todate in Hyd

3) India's top University Osmania

4)  All railway stations -Secbad, Kachiguda and nampally

5) Water management - Osman Sagar,Himayat Sagar

6) Water Management from inundation - Hussain sagar and Musi

7) Buildings like Assemby, Mukram jah college, Fateh Maidan, Charminar, Falaknama etc..

 

In reality last Nizam was a good guy at heart and was ahead of his times in some aspects (best example is Osmania Univeristy), after they took over his power he built Mental hospital using his own money and today the place itself is worth 20,000 crores. Not many speak about 120Kg of gold he donated to Indian Union during war with China in 1962.  Which Maha raja has not commited crimes on poor man..?give him some respect where it deserves.
