Ap & Tg Revenue Difference With Proofs

AP GSDP(Gross State Domestic Product) Revenue b/n 2012-13 : Rs. 4,19,391 crores

 

TG GSDP Revenue b/n 2012-13 : Rs.3,35,018 crores 

 

AP Revenue has been growing at the rate of 15.25% from the last 10 years whereas TG Revenue has been growing at 9.28%.  These are the details I found with proofs. So actually AP has been generating more GSDP than Telangana though latter having Hyderabad. We can only expect more revenue and more growth to AP than before in coming years.  

 

Top 10 States in India by Revenue 2012-13 : 

 

1. Maharashtra : Rs.1,372,644 crores  

 

2. Uttar Pradesh : Rs. 748,930 crores

 

3. Tamil Nadu :  Rs.744,474 crores

 

4. Gujarat :   Rs. 670,016 crores

 

5. West Bengal :   Rs. 620,160 crores

 

6. Karnataka :   Rs. 524,502 crores

 

7. Andhra Pradesh :   Rs. 419,391 crores

 

8. Madhya Pradesh :   Rs. 372,171 crores

 

9. Kerala :   Rs. 349,338 crores

 

10. Haryana :   Rs. 345.238 crores

 

11. Telangana :  Rs. 3,35,018 crores

 

 

Undivided AP used to be in 2nd position after Maharashtra.

 

 

I posted this because many people thought including me that Telangana might have been generating more revenue than AP since it is having Hyderabad but its not.
