He vowed not go back to Congress after he was hurt badly by Gandhi's acts. He would have converted his azad hind fauj into a party. BJP survived to this stage because there was no nationalist party in India. Bose would have filled that gap. BJP would never have come into picture. There may be another possiblity alslo many freedom fighters have been forgotten by us like veer savarkar bose could be one of them in those days many imp leaders were with congress so it would be difficult for bose to estbalsih another party and compete with congress
