thedarkknight Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 a video chudaledu but this read this Early Indians ate cow and goghna is a common term in early literature indicating beef eater...guests being served veal was an act of honor. In due course of time, the number of cows started falling due to both excessive beefeating and climatic conditions where gangetic valley humidity was weakening and killing cows resulting in unavailability of milk and milk products. They decided to ban beefeating to protect cattle stocks by initially venerating cows as sacred. Since they did not depend on other animals' milk , products as much as cows other animals did not get revered.
