rmulcha Posted January 13, 2015 Report Posted January 13, 2015 As we are hearing more about the EAD for H4 spouses recently, my wife is interested to work in IT field. She did her MBA, but doesnt have any IT experience. I am thinking QA/Testing would be convinent for her, as it may be less complex & easy to manage. But at the same time there may not be many jobs for QA people and I work in Charlotte and doesnt want to move to other locations. Actually I work in Java, but there is lot to learn in this, so wondering if I should start teaching her java which will have better jobs than QA/Testing. So need your suggestions on whether QA is okay or please recommend any other technologies.

nalini769 Posted January 13, 2015 Report Posted January 13, 2015 Hello Annaya, let her learn sql basics first and then put her in to some reporting tools, being it very competitive for ba and qa the tools being little technical chances would be better to grab a quick oppurtunity. If she can write and execute a query in SQL she should be good to learn ETL Tools. Best wishes for her Success in IT
