pjung88 Posted January 15, 2015 Report Posted January 15, 2015 bhayya - edhi better annedhe depends on lot of factors but since i was in this siuation 3 yrs ago my few cents.. let's say H1. ------------------ 1.Do you think she can find H1 job in your city? if not, can she find a job in your city in near future. If not your city, best closest city she might get a job for you guys to meet during weekends? 2.did your company start GC. did you get I140 approved?? if she happens to get long term project in another city can you look for a job in that location?? 2.Nuvu already any consultancy nee contact chesava - are they willing to h1b? are they charging any h1b fees? do think you can trust them? 3.She has work experience annav, I guess IT field. Is she\you confident that she is technically competent. remember consultancies put atleast 6 yrs experience,IMHO 4.Nuvu ee field lo work chesthunav, can you help her in office work. this is will very be cruicial. 5.Does she already know driving, do you think she can stay alone in different city. (this will be easier said than done(think twice one this). Let's F1. --------- 1.since she already wrote Gre, TOEFL - did she get any admission ? are those schools near to you? are there any decent schools around your city? are there any chances of getting assistanship?? what about student work positions?? 2.If she is comes here on H4 and been in your state for 1 year, she meets instate requirements(in most cases) and nee fees 60% percent taggthayi.. 3.She can get CPT and OPT gain work experience before h1 starts - what are the chances of that in your city?? 4.Mostly important, what are the chances of her getting job after masters in your place. Does her masters degree help her to get the exposure to be able to do work? This is very important, if you are not confident about this - think again Other factors -------- age factors \ kids planning.. Bottom line - both has pros and cons - which option annedhi depends on your situation and understanding(both) In case, nuvu H1 scenarios lo first 4 questions - confident ante go for it else take time and think about it. Also, if you miss regular H1b quota keep trying for non cap h1 jobs - it will be hard but you atleast got to try -- www.univjobs.com Good luck.
massmaharaj Posted January 15, 2015 Report Posted January 15, 2015 why people are saying after getting a kid , life will be ruined , i dont understand can some one explain this
pjung88 Posted January 15, 2015 Report Posted January 15, 2015 why people are saying after getting a kid , life will be ruined , i dont understand can some one explain this Ruin is probably wrong word..but kids unte your priorities will change..eveything you do/ think will revolve around especially in born/infants unte...you will connected very emotionally with them... So, after kids, consultancy tho vere city lo staying ante it will be emotional very hard on both the parents.. I agree ruin is not right word..priorities will change...

Porsche_ Posted January 15, 2015 Author Report Posted January 15, 2015 only 2 options bro.. 1. h4 best.... married life enjoy cheai sammi.. repu money unna.. malli ee age young age radu... money after 2 yrs also .. u can earn................... 2.ledu.naku baga money picchi ante.. h1 ASAP.. dont delay.... Its not matter about money bro. I will be away in office from 8 to 5 here all alone in home everday she will get mad with nothing to do considering her background where she is working in IT field for over 4 years.
phatposts Posted January 15, 2015 Report Posted January 15, 2015 Very good Insight. but one question, if she comes on F1 and we apply for H1b in April if she gets Picked what will happen to her Status. can we move from F1 to H1b ala ? and in future will there not be any issues during stamping. If she gets picked AND approved, her status will automatically become H1B after October 1st. MS complete cheyyakunda H1b lo ki velte problem emi undadu kaani, you should be ready for a question or two. If asked why, you can tell something like this is a very good opportunity and I did not want to pass this off. I have plans to pursue MS in the future ani cheppachu.
Porsche_ Posted January 15, 2015 Author Report Posted January 15, 2015 Thanks bro for such a clear picture here are my answers to your questions in BOLD let's say H1. ------------------ 1.Do you think she can find H1 job in your city? if not, can she find a job in your city in near future. If not your city, best closest city she might get a job for you guys to meet during weekends? Might be 2.did your company start GC. did you get I140 approved?? if she happens to get long term project in another city can you look for a job in that location?? I140 still in processing 2.Nuvu already any consultancy nee contact chesava - are they willing to h1b? are they charging any h1b fees? do think you can trust them? yes 3.She has work experience annav, I guess IT field. Is she\you confident that she is technically competent. remember consultancies put atleast 6 yrs experience,IMHO Yes she is Technically Strong 4.Nuvu ee field lo work chesthunav, can you help her in office work. this is will very be cruicial. Her technology and mine are Diff 5.Does she already know driving, do you think she can stay alone in different city. (this will be easier said than done(think twice one this). Thats my Big Concern. shes Learnign driving in India Now Let's F1. --------- 1.since she already wrote Gre, TOEFL - did she get any admission ? are those schools near to you? are there any decent schools around your city? are there any chances of getting assistanship?? what about student work positions?? Yes Schools near to me and got the admisssions 2.If she is comes here on H4 and been in your state for 1 year, she meets instate requirements(in most cases) and nee fees 60% percent taggthayi.. will think about this 3.She can get CPT and OPT gain work experience before h1 starts - what are the chances of that in your city?? Same Should marekt and see 4.Mostly important, what are the chances of her getting job after masters in your place. Does her masters degree help her to get the exposure to be able to do work? This is very important, if you are not confident about this - think again Masters is Just an option for us to get CPT and OPT. before H1b so she can get used to American work Culture Other factors -------- age factors \ kids planning.. We are still young ,and still have time for Kids Bottom line - both has pros and cons - which option annedhi depends on your situation and understanding(both) Thank you for all the suggestions as much from all opinons stated here I am thinking like this is my thinking correct ? please all of you suggest ? option A 1) Will Marry her and get her in H4 in Oct 2014.( gives her an intial buffer time to adjust to surroundings here) 2) Apply for H1 in April 2015 3) if Not picked Will defer the current admission she has so that she can join the courses in summer.(May/June 2015) Option B 1) as Yamaha suggested get her in F1 for spring (dec 2014) 2) Apply for H1 in April 2015 if Picked can she drop the courses from Oct ? will there be no problem in change of status and during visa interview anyone has any experience with this kind of senario. Thanks all
