ethical hacker or hacker??? what do you want man .... there are so many Technics u can try with .... 

 

learn how to do injection , cross site scripting and cross site forgery ..... also learn about how web servers manage sessions / cookies .. learn how to steal session token , session hijaking .....

 

also learn direct object references , see if u can find and valid object reference from regular URL (very common programming mistake and hackers cathc this)

 

 

also do DOS attcks and see any server misconfiguration helps you to find info about those servers ... most of the time while configuring servers , we forget about to remove default values as those are not really imp (as we think) .... but that misconfiguration helps u to access servers 

 

also see how the application is using forward vs redirect ... and see u can inject u r own URL to forward user to u r own site ... u get the bakaras here
