I mean unplanned after the city actually is worthy of planning. both Vijayawada and Guntur are small towns, and totally unworthy of the kind of city that is shown in all those ppts. dont you think its just ur opinion more than any proven theory? pls give us examples of planned cities and unplanned cities as driving forces for economical outburst. I believe economical success of a city has nothing to do with unplanned infrastructure. more over, a planned city provides a more comfortable life to its residents and retains the workforce. they are small towns and that is why we (andhrites) are building a city like that to attract the educated workforce that will boom our economy. govt employs ey normal town ki vachi undamantey godava chesthunaru. how do u expect to attract corporate employs with out high standards of living?? organically growing cities make sense, because land is cheaper and assuming basic infra is in place, is profitable for companies to move in. planned cities suffer from lazy, unimaginative and entitled population. There's no need for huge buildings, flyovers, green cover, before the city starts breaking a threshold in gross production. tell me places where land is cheaper in andhra pradesh that have organically grown cities? Nellore lo acre entho telusa?? pls dont tell the name of some place in rayalseema which does not even have adequate water resources for current residents leaving alone the future inflow of population in the future. once unplanned city form ayithey inka malli hyd outskirts lo farmers la malli businessmen medha edusthuney untaru. you are wrong if you think the planned city is only for the current residents. its our capital and there will be a lot of inflow in the near future. what makes you think people in vijayawada/guntur are lazy, unimaginative and entitled population?? Not lazy coz they have been successful in agriculture. imaginative coz they have made sure their second generation gets better living standards with better education. u can see most people from vijayawada/guntur in the US as well. entitled population will be a problem anywhere. maybe if you try to understand the situation of andhra holistically. u might be in a better position to accept why we need a planned city like that.
