already 4000 acres farmers nunchi govt teeskondi out of 30k....motham 30k acres teeskone lopala master plan ready avuddi..I think by June kalla lands and master plan ready avuthundi. ah taruvata start avuddi. prestigious project for AP...I think it is the biggest project ever in India in last 50 years.

a city is not a municipal park abba, to plan and build and then watch it grow. why can't they let a city grow organically?

 yes. but what Iam saying is Surbana is known for this kind of projects. They will design very good master plan. India lo ipudu cleanest city ante Chandigarh. By far that is the cleanest city in India. That was planned city in 1940 I think....inka ap new capital with all technology eerojullo chandigarh ni 10 times  minchina good city create cheyochu. Thats what ap people want. Not a crowded and slum cities like hyderabad kolkata etc

IIM vanti insitues kuda vizag city ki chala dooram lo petaru lands leka. so cbn chosen  a region and decided to develop. more importantly ap new capital is b/n guntur and vijayawada cities. thullur nunchi rendu cities chala dagara. future lo anni kalisipothay.  development will become faster in that region.

Chandigarh is a useless city. I mean, literally. cleanliness matters for nothing, if city doesn't have a bustling economy. 

 

In fact, this kind of planned cities will snuff the life out of people. Indian/AP people are not that matured to administer cities, and maintain it. I wonder how much the property taxes will be in that new city, and how many people will pay it.

 

Or will the state govt keep pouring more and more money into the city for its maintenance, taking money from more useful projects like providing education, healthcare, nutrition to rest of AP.

True. but again Chandigarh is an union territory. That stopped the growth of that city and about remaining points, well time will tell. We cant do anything other than to be optimistic. Especially as cbn is cm, we can hope better things.
