The reason I asked her is ..because she said that it has some scientific reason. Go read from the beginning, so you don't have any problem to divert from the original intention of this thread, using milk as some sort of class barrier (where poor don't get access to it, while rich waste it on idols), into arguing over semantics of what 'scientific' is? Even if pouring milk is such a problem, and is the reason for milk scarcity, it must be backed with decent data. Not a photoshopped pic. No wonder Hindus are such easy pickings. They so readily succumb to self loathing.

They so readily succumb to self loathing. Ok, cool down, man. Don't tear drawers. My intention was to goad in the direction of logical and more rational thinking when I ask for scientific reason. Because there are many nut cases who do follow the blind faith and use the the argument of unavailable scientific reason to support their blind faith. People with logical and rational thinking will definitely see it. And with the data you are talking, it is common sense and the information gazed from what ever you observe in India about wasting milk in the temples.
