If they knew how hard it is to find a STEM job. I have a PhD from Cornell University in biotech with postdoctoral degrees and it took me 2 years and 300+ application to find a decent job in industry. I almost gave up my search and considered a job in sales. Every American that I know, even foreigners, are disappointed at the current state of science jobs. Most feel very strongly about their kids not studying science or technology. STEM is becoming a third world profession that is easy to outsource. Why is it that people like us don't have a voice, while CEOs get lots of time to speak in front of congress?
I feel so betrayed by my government that sometimes I don't feel American anymore. Why should I be loyal to this country when my government cares more about foreigners.  bye1
