I dont think u get new inspection sticker even if you do inspection at local station as per current state requirement. You only slip from mechanic saying vehicle inspected and passed. Because you dont submit documents to tx registration renewal site.

u need to have current address in TX and renew it online by following this link selecting your county. yes they will send to the tx addres the new registration sticker which u need to stick it the front windshield glass.
