There was a misbelief in the people that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has bailed out the state from financial crunch within 7 months of his ruling.

Chandrababu Naidu and his ministers frequent foreign tours, clearing part of the crop loans, liberally granting funds to police department for buying more than two thousand vehicles, Rs.2500 crores for pensions, Rs.1 crore to each district for Pongal festival celebrations, Rs.300 crores for supplying essential commodities packets to poor people during Pongal festival time etc. have created this misbelief among the people of Andhra Pradesh.

However, he broke their confidence by declaring there is no money to pay the salaries of his employees, unless Centre release funds immediately.

AP government has come up with a nice excuse for this sudden change in the situation. It says that the situation become critical with release of Rs.2000 crores for pensions, Rs.1500 crore as industrial subsidy that was due to Industrial sector for a long time. Huge fund releases to other purposes is also another reason for this cash crunch, says the AP government. So, when it is not in a position to pay salaries to its employees, no need to think about releasing funds to various welfare schemes. They may be kept on hold until the financial situation improves.   
 

CM Chandrababu Naidu has explained about this critical situation of his government and urged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to immediately release Rs.16, 000 crores funds promised to the state in the AP Reorganization Bill.

correct me if i m wrong..the TS target was 5400 crs on excise, stamps, registrations.....but received so far 3000 crs...

 

that 13500 crs target is for service tax or TDS which received so far only 1000 crs.....

 

anyway.....this excise, stamps and registration tax revenue will decrease even in coming 1 year as most people will not buy 2nd or 3rd properties in HYD. they will opt AP for safe investments.
