First of All naaa Lappy ki CD Drive ledu... So Walmart ki velli Panasonic Blu Ray and DVD player konna. Daanini HDMI Cable tho TV ki Connect chesa... Player lo Blu Ray Disc pedithe TV Screen Blue ga vachindi. Koddiga sepu Reading Disc ani tharvatha aaa Blue Screen alane undi poyindi...

When u connect player to tv do u see any logo of Panasonic before inserting bluray cd..make sure ur on correct mode on tv

I have PS3 ..so it shows contents of ps3 when it's on

As per my understanding DVD and BD are two different formats..BD player and DVD player are also different

 

BD player can play Blue ray and DVD's..but DVD player cannot play BD's by default..you need to tinker around to make it play BD's..it can only play DVD's and other formats

I bought a player which supports both Blu ray and DVD. When I place the disk it detects the disc but ends up with a blue screen

few things might be wrong :

wrong connections; Connection to the TV or ur blueray player is not fully inserted .
wrong side of disc's u might be inserting wrong side .
region specific Bluerays or illicit blurays

last thing may be blue ray player is broken .

tv lo hdmi connected to bluray might play in a  different mode. Please check it.
