thedarkknight Posted January 25, 2015 Report Posted January 25, 2015 probelm is the muslims u mentioned wont watch telugu movies ,so film makers doest give much importance to them since 1970s only the influence of telugu movies started in telugu region earilier hindu movies use to good run over telugu movies amitabh bachan has unbreakable single tehater records here during 70s much of the andhra population have started migrating to hyderbad so hindi movies influence has been decreased another reason why less no of t people in industry ,people in rural areas in t are not very must intrested in nizam region when compared to andhra coz andhra side we use to have dramas later on that intrest dramas went on to movies so due to this reason much of the earlier hero's/directors/writers are from andhra now if u compare the revenue also andhra regions generate more revnue than nizam if u exclude Hyderabad very less revenue come from these districts so we see more of Krishna godarvari/andhra influence

The makers bring their inflated sense of importance (given their cushy life in krishna, godavari districts), and combined with lack of urban refinement (because they are not from Hyd), give us all the crap movies. The movies center around 'gouravam' 'maryada' and such outdated nonsense. Its a shame that inspite of living in close quarters with muslims in Hyd, there's not a single Telugu movie that realistically portrays muslims in movies.
