Hyderabad: Sources said Chief Ministers K. Chandrasekhar Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu responded positively to the Governor’s request to sort out issues and promised to meet again.

Earlier, Mr Rao and Mr Naidu had a lengthy conversation during the reception, after an initial bout of silence. The Governor joined them intermittently, while meeting other invitees.

“Everything is fine. We are all together. We have discussed various issues and we are all happy,” Mr Narasimhan said when media persons asked whether interstate issues had cropped up during the discussions between Mr Rao and Mr Naidu in his presence.

Mr Rao reportedly told Mr Naidu that the proposed capital at Tullur on the banks of the river Krishna in Guntur district had perfect vaastu and it would end the woes of Andhra Pradesh.
