I don't think AP deserves such a capital, nor can AP people handle one even if it is built. Its a huge waste of money.

Its obvious that they used their money to get that power. which means, majority of private investment was done by AP people. with easy money from agriculture etc. Ofcourse, they used tricks to swindle govt money etc., but even the state and central govt investment came to Hyd because of the state's size and its capacity for future returns. Do you honestly think that Hyd would've gotten those investments with a smaller TG state? so to completely brush aside AP people's humongous contributions to Hyd is dishonest. yeah, they can be a bit irritating with their constant complaining about Hyd loss, but let them cry a little man. They'll stop eventually. what will poking them get you? or atleast find new and interesting ways to poke fun at AP people :)

Its currently used to export bulk break materials. mostly seafood. and sometimes coal.
