***** Sun TV offers above Rs.30 crores for ‘Orange’ !! *****

Sun TV network, one of the biggest media conglomerates in South India, has its hands full this summer. The media house which is also one of the biggest production house and distributor in Tamil film industry has already bought the rights for Vijay’s ‘Sura’, Suriya’s ‘Singam’ and Jayam Ravi’s ‘Thillalangadi’ in Tamil which are some of the big releases this year. Sun Pictures, the distribution house of Sun TV network has also bought the production rights of Shankar’s ‘Endhiran’ starring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai. The buzz is that this media giant has offered more than Rs.30 crores to buy the entire rights of Ram Charan Teja’s third film ‘Orange’. However, the producer of the film Nagendra Babu is reportedly not too keen on this offer since the cost of production of this film is more than the price offered by Sun TV network. Bommarillu Bhaskar is directing the film and Nagendra Babu is producing the film on Anjana Productions banner. Genelia, Shahzahn Padamsee, Sanchita Shetty are playing the lead roles opposite Ram Charan in this film. The film was recently shot for almost two months in Australia. Harris Jayraj is composing the music for the film. The buzz is that the film might release in the first week of October.
