Janmabhoomi and shramadanam are good concepts ..and I have not seen anyone who has cried on these programmes !

 

But mission Kakatiya is revival of lakes and Tanks..Govt is urging people to adapt lakes in thier villages and also requesting people participation has it involves huge amount of money and resources !

Ground water already at the lowest levels and it is inevitable that govt has to do something about it otherwise TS will become another Rajasthan state. Major irrigation was completely neglected in TS in lat 60 years mostly due to polical and availability of resources such as electricity and money and hence the land prices never took off in TS, projects like mission kakatiya and combined with major irrigation works will make TS farm lands as good as the ones in guntur belt. In last 2 years lands in our village have appreciated 600% (reason 4 lane hwy, 60 minutes from Hyd).
