Spartan Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 Hyderabad Metro Rail fares are set to be hiked even before the first service rolls out on Ugadi. The government had notified Rs 8 as the minimum fare and a maximum of Rs 19 in April 2011 for the 8-km Nagole to Mettuguda run. Project developer L&T now wants the minimum increased to Rs 14 and maximum to Rs 35. The new proposed fare for unlimited usage during the day is Rs 50, against Rs 40 earlier.
