Lavanya went to Khammam as his son Akash Puri was shooting for the film 'Andhra Pori'. Entire crew were staying at a hotel and the film’s heroine Ulka Gagan Gupta told to Lavanya that a local SI Shankmuka Sharma has started to trouble her by visiting her hotel room frequently. Irked with the cop’s behaviour, Lavanya told the entire incident to Puri Jagannath. In less than 2 hours, SI Shanmuka Sharma got a call from DSP and the former got a strong warning from his superiors. DSP was about to suspend him for his misbehaviour, but Puri requested the DSP just to give him a strong warning so that he won’t repeat the mistake in the future. DSP spoke to SI Shanmukha Sharma for more than an hour and warned him that necessary actions would be taken in future.
