its not a race to see who wins and who loses. Former works with non living things while latter with living things. Its like buying a train ticket and waiting at the movie theatre thats how bad your comparison is.

when everything is computable. difference between non-living and the living is one of degree.

 

when engineers master that difference, doctors will become obsolete.

 

medical knowledge will become hugely sought after, ofcourse. But doctor mafia will seize to exist.

 

No more forming professional unions and restricting the number of doctors graduating per year to keep their salaries inflated.
