"I'm waiting for Chiranjeevi garu's call. I'm more than happy to direct his 150th film. Although I don't have a story/script that is apt for his 150th film, but it'll be a great honour for me if I I get the opportunity to direct his 150th film," Puri shared his anxiety, interest to direct Chiru in an interview.

Recalling his previous experience, Puri added that Mr Amitabh Bachchan had proposed Chiru to return to films during an event of Buddah Hoga Teraa Baap and even suggested his name for Chiru as director. "Big B has asked Chiru to comeback to movies and suggested my name to Chiranjeevi garu as director. He also stated that he'd like to play a guest role if I direct the film," said Puri. Puri added that he's die-hard fan of Chiru since his early days.
