Andaru negative gane alochisthunnaru. Just think people who are stuck in I140 for many years atleast they got some hopes as their spouses work, its good.

 

Think if husband lost job on his H1B, atleast with his wife on H4-EAD they can survive. I know there are many people can take advantage of it in wrong sense. This happened with both husband and wife both on H1B still work for same company with some different employers.

 

I feel definitely a gr8 move for H4's.  It makes sense only for those who have I140 approved and stuck for many years.

 

 

How can wife work on H4 EAD if husband lost his job and has no H1 ?

Yes. science vallu kuda affect avutharu...companies will hire them as long as labour needed. But if talent needed, then EAD does not make any difference.

H4 EAD is nothing but OPT EAD....same rules except the university, u update uscis through employer i guess.
