Hi,

 

I am working as FT for a big service based company. My LCA was applied and still pending. If I make internal transfer from my current location to new location(CA), will my current LCA petition valid? or does my employer have to file new petition again? What if the job title changes?, like moving from Software Engineer to Data scientist. What if I move after I-140 approval?

That should not be problem unless you are with same company, lets say if company splits and your job role changes then that might effect you. But, still you can use the same priority date and transfer to other company(incase if company splits).

Each PERM filing is associated with a particular job classification and work location.  If you were to change job types (including from Software Engineer to Data Scientist), a new PERM application would need to be filed.  Similarly, if you move  (for instance, from SFO to Dallas), a new PERM application should also be required

I would say wait till your Perm is approved then file for I-140 premium. Once your I140 is approved then you can use the same labor date and start the new process as per your Advocate.
