kkumar2619 Posted February 26, 2015 Report Posted February 26, 2015 The Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has come up with a list of Telugu words to be banned in the future releases. On Monday, the CBFC panel met with the regional censor board members in Mumbai under the leadership of its chairman Pahlaj Nihalani, and chalked out a list of 30 Telugu cuss words to be checked by the filmmakers. The list has been re-circulated among the filmmakers.Some of the banned cuss words include Bongu, Nee Amma, VP, Chetha Na Kodaka, Nayala, Mushti Nayala, Chillara Nayala, Gadida Kodaka, Bokka, etc. apart from these words, the censor panel has also decided to be stringent with filmmakers who frequently use double entendres and severe abusive words.In 2003, the censor board prepared a list of cuss words to be banned from using in Telugu films. However, due to the board's negligence and the filmmakers' creativity in inventing new cuss words, the problem seemed to have prevailed. Couple of weeks ago, the censor board came up with a list of banned words in Hindi and English, which has come under severe criticism from freethinkers and filmmakers.
