Vijayawada ?

Finance minister Arun Jaitley today announced a new Indian Institute of Management in Andhra Pradesh, catching education officials by surprise. The new B-school will make Andhra the only state boasting two IIMs. There are 19 IIMs now but no state has more than one, and many have none. Jaitley had last year announced one IIM for the new state of Andhra, which is coming up in Visakhapatnam. It is likely to start admitting students this summer while operating from a temporary campus.
