This is precisely the reason why many govts wrongly invest in Infrastructure before before investing in health and education. This is a bit like telling the dalit farmhand that his kid won't have a school to go to, and will die of preventable diseases because middle class in India wants access to better infrastructure. You simply cannot have infrastructure that outpaced the ability of the population to pay for it. China's experience should've taught India, the dangers of unbridled infra investment. Its simply a ponzi scheme where the people with the greatest access keep enriching themselves. This is also why it partly annoys me when people complain about the horrible airport in Chennai, and praise the wonderful one in Hyd.
