If they had the minimum sense, they'd have put more emphasis on education and health. UPA 1&2 was slightly better in this regard. Even Indonesia spends more on education and health than India. and the country is an utter mess. corruption, scandals.

It matters that funds sucked up from the state into it. and what has it to show for it, after 15yrs? a swanky airport, no one uses. Not much manufacturing base, except with generic drug manufacturing.
