CKRAVI Posted March 2, 2015 Report Posted March 2, 2015 SRIKAKULAM: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday expressed confidence that the proposed new capital of the state, would be much better than Hyderabad. Since the bifurcation of the united Andhra Pradesh in June last year, Hyderabad has been serving as the joint capital for ten years for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. "Cyberabad, an IT hub, had been the only source of income for Hyderabad and it was developed during my previous tendure as the Chief Minister. But with the division of the state, we lost Hyderabad. Now, we will develop a new capital, which would be hundred times better than Hyderabad," Naidu said here while interacting with the students of an engineering college near Etcherla. :police: :police: :police:

He has not much money. Chattisgarh and other new states got about 5k crs or less to build capital. He is not special person to get anything more. He dreams big and mega but reality is far from dream. We are not US or Japan or Korea to build new cities. As venkayya said, smart cities are just current towns and cities with some improvement on roads and water etc. Only thing is eventually in 15 yrs AP Capital will tilt tables for all Andhra and some T public to come and live in Guntur area so Hyd will loose some population and growth.
