Naidu is big Hype Master. He putting flowering in public ears. Chevilo poolu. He has not much money. Chattisgarh and other new states got about 5k crs or less to build capital. He is not special person to get anything more. He dreams big and mega but reality is far from dream. We are not US or Japan or Korea to build new cities. As venkayya said, smart cities are just current towns and cities with some improvement on roads and water etc. Only thing is eventually in 15 yrs AP Capital will tilt tables for all Andhra and some T public to come and live in Guntur area so Hyd will loose some population and growth.

 

The current situation is very similar during 1994, no support from central, deficit budget, no money to pay salaries to employess. The good thing about present situation is, AP might get funds from central (not sure when and how much), less population because of bifurcation (will deal with less number of people)....there are bad things too, but I am not a JAGAN or JAFFA to just look at the bad scenarios when I do not have any ideas or suggestions to overcome from it....
