Hitman Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is presently touring Guntur district and speaking in Undavalli he said that he would return every acre of land being illegally procured by Chandra Babu and his government, once he is voted to power. As a part of his tour programme, he spoke to women farmers and assured that he would do his best to safeguard their interests. Jagan once again raised his voice against Chandra Babu’s ploy to take away fertile lands which were giving three crops per annum. Though there was 18,000 acres of forest land lying waste in Vinukonda, the government had marked all the fertile lands for procurement and they are now giving them away to Singapore-based companies promising Singapore-style city, alleged Jagan. “I talked to farmers and farm labourers and got an overview of the situation. Chandra Babu is unable to see that many farmers will not have livelihood if their lands are taken away. I am saying this time and again, if Chandra Babu takes land forcibly, I will return every such acre of land once I come to power. We will unite and fight against Chandra Babu. Though most of you are distressed, you have come all the way with a smile on your faces and I thank you all,” said Jagan as he finished his speech.
