Telangana is next only to Maharashtra

Rofl. telisthe comment cheyandayya.

According to 2013-14 estimates,

Percapital Income of India : Rs.74,380

Percapita Income of  Andhra PradeshRs. 81,397

Percapita Income of Telangana : Rs.93,151

Though overall Telangana percapita income is a lot higher than national average of Rs.74,380 but ONLY THREE DISTRICTS of the state are having the Percapita Income which are above the national average.

AP and TG are  getting almost same revenue but coz AP have higher population and due to some other reasons, it has more expenses. Thats why AP is in deflict. 4 years ee growth rate continue ayithe AP will come out of deflict.

those are last year stats, current in Rs 1,04,000.

Ref : Rated by a revenue surplus State by the 14th Finance Commission, Telangana registered a GSDP of Rs. 4 lakh crore mark, pushing the per capita income to Rs. 1.04 lakh in 2014-15 from Rs. 95,361 in 2013-14, far above the national average of Rs. 88,533.

I just saw the TG budget.

Central grants make up more than 25% of its revenue. High gdp or not, TG is not a rich state, obviously.

lets see what AP budget puts up.

also whatever is percapita, its definitely not next 'only to Maharashtra', because Mah is not the state with the highest per capita.
