India's chances to semis

    * Australia has already entered in to Semis with NRR +3.250.
    * In India v Sri Lanka match; if India manages to get 180 run, they should try to restrict Sri Lankans at 160 runs thus leading to 20 Runs victory. If this happens Sri Lanka’s run rate would be -0.73 and consequently India’s would be -0.72.
    * If India is batting second, they must ensure that they win the match before 17.3 Overs.
    * If batting first Sri Lanka is all out before 20 Overs, then India would also need to win even before 17.3 overs. Ex. If Sri Lanka is all out in 19th over. India would need to win the match in 16.3 overs.
    * This fact is compulsory. Any compromise in this condition would mean India is out. One must be fully aware that difference in the margin would be as per score. If score is high or low, all statistics will change. Although, the above score mention is most ideal deal for India.
    * Now, Australia beat West Indies by even 1 run. India gets into Semi Final.

The difference between the runs given and runs scored for WI is 43, for SL it is 24 and for india it is 63.If india wins against SL by 21 runs then diff for india will be 42 and SL will be 45.If WI lose by 2 runs its enough
