Why I Hate Sri Lanka Cricket Team.

They are the perfect team, if I hold them by the yardstick I generally hold sports teams to.

 

They are freaky - maliinga, murli, kaluwitharana, even jayasurya.

 

They are talented.

 

They play at the margins - by attempting to exploit every rule in cricket.

 

They are nice.

 

They take crazy risks - like including a no name bowler in wc quarters like today.

 

wow.. they are perfect.

 

But I still hate them. Two reasons. Sangakkara, and Mahela Jayawardena.

 

Their batting is gorgeous. But they spoil their team's awesomeness by explaining their every freakishness, in plain simple language. It simply irritates me to see articulate sportsmen. Sangakkara, particularly, is the worst. Somebody tape his mouth pls.

 

I'll go back to supporting SL once these two retire. Angelo mathhews is my kinda man. His english sucks, and he won't bore me by explaining obvious BS.
