I cannot comment for .net code .. memu java vadtam .. github is better .. github is like linux .. you can customise and plays well with other opensource systems .. you can add hooks into githib which makes it better.. nenu eppudu TFS vadaledu .. I used perforce before .. i feel github is better than perforce .. for CI what are you going to use .. jenkins ??

 

Yes Jenkins vadtam ani plan..

 

we also use/using perforce stll..but kotta project undi..so want to migrate to new SC

but .net ki TFS better ani talk..

 

so just finding out options/opinions....

 

my leaning is towards TFS-jenkins combo...

better integration with vstf,  for continuous integration also very nice.. test cases ki automation associate cheyadam, and test agent setup cheyadam easy ee.. no clue about build process, but very mature platform, go for TFS

that is another aspect i need to weigh on...

we use Jenkins + Git but mostly java related stuff.

 

I think .NET is better off with MS tools. we should check TFS integration and stability with open source tools.
