untill independence indian aircrafts meeda british roundels undevii...

 

n independence vachaka... british roundels were replaced by indian flag... one side vertical tri color n other side chakra...

 

n thr were strict rules tht these should be in specified dimensions only...

 

fin was easy to be presented wch is in 1:1 dimension at tht tym n now its in 2:3.. but chakra was hard to be presented in specified dimension...

 

so chakra was replaced by roundel wch is also the same tri colour in circle...
