texas Posted March 21, 2015 Report Posted March 21, 2015 This just happened last week in Houston One more guy denied at POE Reason - Gap between I-20's which resulted in illegal stay in US His OPT I20- expired on July 23 but he got the CAP extension from Aug 20th ( he is claiming that it was fault of Univ where they had wrong month in his I-20), but why didn't he check his I-20 when it was issued. So, please be cautions when you are visiting India make sure all your documents are perfect. This was his first entry after H-1 stamping and he was married. He was send back with his family :(

They do check only i797 and so on thats right, kani mana vadu aa perios tharvatha India vellaledu kada so they should have questioned this when he went to H1B stamping.
