The rumours linking Karthi and Tamannah seem to have put Sivakumar in a gloomy mood. To put this romance to rest, Sivakumar seems to have started seriously looking out for a bride for Karthi.

Sivakumar had already experienced a shock before. When his eldest son Surya expressed his desire to marry Jyothika, he initially opposed it as he didn't want his son to marry a heroine. Now he does not want his second son to also marry a heroine.
